Pictures from our Day of Evangilization [on Saturday, August 26, 2023] where 124 Pilgrims teamed up in pairs to head out into the neighborhood to share our Catholic faith and invite those with open hearts to join us! Special thanks to Ed Gallagher for proposing the idea and overseeing the whole project with our Legion of Mary. The day began at 7:30 am with the Rosary, Mass, Breakfast and picking up of packets. During the 2 hours of home visits, we had Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament where 50 Adorers prayed for the success of our Pilgrims. A simple lunch followed and reports given. The time was filled with excitement and joy as the Pilgrims recounted the highlights of their visits!
Over 1000 house visits, over 425 personal contacts and 33 of those contacts requested a follow up with a priest or parishioner. It was an AMAZING day with assistance of the statewide Legion of Mary Praesidia and volunteers from other parishes!!
