The following link provides images of our All Souls Day Mass which concluded with the Diocesan Procession from St. Mary’s to the Cathedral. The 1st Annual Procession was very well attended with about 500 pilgrims, from various parishes and groups around the diocese, with four Marian floats, various banners and flags. The rosary was prayed along the way in Spanish, Portuguese, French, English and Latin representing all the native countries of the participants. Our Explorers, in uniform, led in front followed by our priests, sodalities, acolyte guild, and Legion of Mary. A decade was prayed before Planned Parenthood to pray in reparation for the terrible crime of the slaughter of the innocents that takes place there.
The Litany of Our Lady was chanted as we arrived at the Cathedral, and the Salve Regina as we entered through her doors, with shouts of long live Christ the King and Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the various titles under which she is invoked by the international spectrum of pilgrims.
Stay tuned for news of the 2nd annual pilgrimage next year, which should draw well over a thousand participants!
