The Altar to the right (as one is looking at it) of the High Altar at St. Mary’s is dedicated to St. Joseph. At the base of the Altar there is an inscription which reads as follows: “This altar was erected and presented to this church, on Jan. 1, 1890, in grateful thanksgiving for a great favor received from our Blessed Lady, by Rev. Robert Joseph Sullivan, second Pastor of St. Mary’s.”
