At St. Mary’s we will offer a Novena of Masses for the Holy Souls from November 1-9. There will be Sung Requiem Mass with absolution at the catafalque on November 2 and Requiem Masses offered on all other days which are not impeded by a feast during those nine days.
You may use the envelopes marked for the novena at the entrances of the church. Please list as many souls as you wish to be included and submit whatever donation you wish. Others may also submit intentions for the novena by mail no later than October 31.
All of the donations collected from this Novena of Masses will go towards the altar rail and replacement of the floor in the church sanctuary here at St. Mary’s.
“Oh, my friends, let us pray much, and let obtain many prayers from others, for the poor deceased; the good God will render us back the good we do to them a hundredfold. Ah! if every one knew how useful this devotion to the holy souls in purgatory is to those practice it, they would not be forgotten so often; the good God regards all that we do for them as if it were done to Himself.”– St. John Mary Vianney
