Note from our Pastor- Fr. Romanoski FSSP

Thank you for the warm welcome to St. Mary’s! The welcome was so warm I hardly noticed that the temperature is different here than in Florida. 😊 It is an honor to be here as your pastor to serve this wonderful, historic parish, wonderful in both its stone architecture and people. I ask for your prayers and patience as I learn the ropes of administration and get to know everyone. I ask for your prayers as well for my former flock in Florida and for their new chaplain. As I wanted to get here as soon as possible to assist Fr. Truong and attend you all, I still have some pending tasks to organize there as well.

I am excited to continue the great work that Fr. Berg and the FSSP established here and pray that the community will continue to be a powerhouse of prayer with daily masses and sung divine office, as well as a center to grow in the knowledge of our faith with many opportunities for catechesis and growing as a true parish family via our groups and parish socials. If we focus on these three roots of prayer, faith and fellowship in charity, God will bless us with abundant growth and conformity to the temple of His Son-  in the words of our patron St. Peter:

“Be ye also as living stones built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2: 5)

Fiat, fiat!
