Today is the 12th Anniversary of the Promulgation of Pope Benedict XVI’s Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum. This Motu Proprio allowed for greater use of the Roman Liturgical Rites as they stood before the Second Vatican Council. The entire Church owes a great debt of gratitude to Pope Benedict for this great gift he gave us!
