SUMMARY:Holy Name Society
DESCRIPTION:The Holy Name Society is St. Mary’s men’s group. This group meets periodically and is open to all men of the parish who are either over 30 or married. \nThe Holy Name Society will regularly meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. \nMeetings occur after the 6pm Mass and include a brief talk\, and a meal taken together at the rectory. \nThe aim of the Society is to promote: \n\nReverence for the Sacred Names of God and Jesus Christ\,\nObedience and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church\, and\nThe personal sanctification and holiness of its members.\n\nAs part of their apostolate\, the members of the Holy Name Society are asked to pray daily for the following intentions: \n\nThe Church – the Holy Father\, the Bishops\, and all clergy and religious\nThose in civil authority – the President\, the Congress\, the Governor\, the State Assembly\, members of local government\, First Responders\nSt. Mary’s parish\nThe husbands and fathers of St. Mary’s Parish\nThe young men of St. Mary’s Parish
